Grants and Programs centered around Early Detection

Both the National Cancer Institute and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center offer state of the art research and development into the early detections of colon cancer, among the many others.

By continuing to focus time and annual donations toward not only early detection, but awareness, RACE Charities will continue the dream of Glory that early detection can be practiced both my doctors and patients.

RACE Charities was able to provide it’s inaugural donation to the Fred Hutchinson CRC in July of 2007. Learning that the center is committed to early detection and that new methods are a few short years away will provide hope to many people young and old. The Clinics’ leading doctors will continue to meet with RACE so we can continue our coordinated efforts of early detection.

Beyond working with specific clinics, RACE knows the importance of family history and awareness. Being persistent and making sure you and your doctor are aware of what risks you may have.

Let us know if you know of great stories of doctors or patients that have become warriors for the cause of early detection. RACE would love to have them be aware we support them and their actions and strength.
