I believe that RACE Charities is worthy to support and I stand behind their hope and desire in honoring Glory’s wishes to educate general practitioners, specialists and the general public to know that there are means available to detect early signs of cancer before it spreads and becomes more difficult to fight. My family has known the great loss and tears of losing children and my own mother, at an early age to this insidious disease. We never think that we might be a victim, and so we are not prepared when it hits the ones we love. With that in mind it is for the love of my own children and grand children that I hope and ask you to join me in raising financial support for this fine charity so that if it ever comes near your own home, you can know that at least in a small way you did something to help save one life - maybe even the life of your own loved one. RACE Summary

RACE Charities is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awarenes of cancer through early detection. RACE organizes events around the country in efforts to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of cancer, especially for young people with a family history of cancer. RACE was founded by Glory Gensch (pictured on top of Page) who passed away from colon cancer at the age of 23. Glory’s legacy and mission lives on through RACE Charities, whose fundraising campaign is focused on raising money to donate directly to nationally renowned early detection research institutes throughout the United States. Glory, as well as all RACE volunteers and members, believe that if our efforts can save just one life, then it is well worth the sacrifice!
